AS5600L 12-Bit Programmable On-Axis Magnetic Rotary Position Sensor

The AS5600L is an easy-to-program, high-resolution 12-bit magnetic rotary position sensor with IC or PWM output. It measures the absolute angle of a diametric magnetized on-axis magnet, making it suitable for contactless potentiometer applications. Its robust design is unaffected by homogenous external stray magnetic fields. The IC interface allows for simple user programming of non-volatile parameters without a dedicated programmer. The output can represent a full 0-360 degree range or a user-defined smaller range by programming start and stop positions. A smart low-power mode reduces power consumption. The DIR input pin controls the output polarity relative to the rotation direction. Available in a standard SOIC-8 package and a compact WL-CSP (2.07mm x 2.63mm x 0.6mm), both variants operate within a -40C to 125C temperature range.
