Product Overview
The AS5600 is an easy-to-program, 12-bit contactless magnetic rotary position sensor offering high-resolution analog or PWM output. It measures the absolute angle of a diametric magnetized on-axis magnet, designed for contactless potentiometer applications. Its robust design mitigates external stray magnetic fields. The IC interface allows simple user programming of non-volatile parameters, including defining custom start and stop positions for the output range (18 to 360). A smart low-power mode reduces consumption, and a DIR pin selects output polarity relative to rotation direction.
