Product Overview
The TMD3725 is an advanced sensor module featuring proximity measurement, RGBC+IR color sensing, and digital ambient light sensing (ALS). Designed for a single-hole aperture approach, it integrates an IR LED and factory-calibrated LED driver. The proximity detection uses reflected IR energy for object detection, with interrupt-driven events and offset adjustment registers for accuracy. ALS detection provides photopic light intensity data, and color photodiodes with UV/IR blocking filters and 16-bit data converters enable accurate illuminance and color temperature calculations for display control. Its compact, low-profile package and reduced board space requirements make it ideal for mobile devices.
