AS621x Digital Temperature Sensor

The AS621x is a high-accuracy digital temperature sensor system designed for a wide range of applications, particularly those requiring low power consumption and easy integration. It features a Si bandgap temperature sensor, an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC), and a digital signal processor. The device communicates via a 2-wire digital bus (IC) and offers factory calibration, integrated linearization, and the ability to use up to eight AS621x devices on a single bus through selectable IC addresses. An alert functionality is included to trigger interrupts for device protection against excessive temperatures. The AS621x production test setup is calibrated against NIST, and verification equipment is calibrated by an ISO/IEC-17025 accredited laboratory.

Note on Pins: External pull-up resistors (to VDD) are necessary for SDA and SCL. ADD0 must not be left unconnected. ALERT/ADD1 can be used for interrupts and requires a pull-up resistor if used; otherwise, it must be connected to VSS or SCL depending on the IC address selection.
