Product Overview
The ams OSRAM TSL237 is a high-sensitivity light-to-frequency converter that integrates a silicon photodiode and a current-to-frequency converter on a single CMOS IC. It outputs a square wave proportional to light intensity, enabling direct interface with microcontrollers. Temperature compensated for the UV-to-visible range (320nm-700nm) with a response up to 1050nm, it operates from -40C to 85C and is available in a 3-lead clear plastic side-looker package. The TSL237 offers a wide input dynamic range, low dark frequency, and high irradiance responsivity, making it suitable for various light sensing applications.
