Product Overview
The AS7265x chipset is a smart 18-channel VIS to NIR spectral identification 3-sensor chip-set with an electronic shutter. It comprises three sensor devices: AS72651 (master), AS72652, and AS72653. Each sensor features 6 independent on-device optical filters with spectral responses ranging from 410nm to 940nm (20nm FWHM). The chipset is designed for spectral identification applications, offering a compact solution with integrated LED drivers and programmable current for electronic shutter functionality. Firmware is required for operation and must be loaded via a serial flash through a UART interface. The components are pre-calibrated, but recalibration may be needed for specific application conditions. The device family integrates Gaussian filters using nano-optic deposited interference filter technology in LGA packages with built-in apertures.
