Product Overview
The AS5047D is a high-resolution, 14-bit on-axis magnetic rotary position sensor designed for fast absolute angle measurement over a full 360-degree range. It features integrated dynamic angle error compensation (DAEC) with minimal latency and offers robust suppression of homogeneous external stray magnetic fields. The sensor provides absolute angle position data via a 4-wire SPI serial interface, allowing host microcontrollers to read data and program non-volatile settings without a dedicated programmer. Incremental movements are indicated on ABI signals with programmable resolutions in decimal and binary modes. It also includes a UVW commutation interface for brushless DC (BLDC) motor control and a PWM-encoded absolute angle output. The AS5047D is available as a single die in a compact 14-pin TSSOP package.
