ams OSRAM CSG14K_CSG8K High Speed Global Shutter CMOS Image Sensor
The ams OSRAM CSG14K_CSG8K is a high-speed CMOS image sensor family designed for demanding machine vision and video applications. Featuring 3.2 m pipelined global shutter pixels with true Correlated Double Sampling (CDS), these sensors enable simultaneous exposure and readout, minimizing motion artifacts. With up to 16 sub-LVDS data output channels operating at 1.25 Gbit/s per channel, they achieve high frame rates: 140 fps for the CSG14K (13.8 Mp) and 231 fps for the CSG8K (8.3 Mp) at full resolution. Frame rates can be further increased using programmable row-windowing or row-subsampling modes. The integrated on-chip sequencer manages internal timing, and external triggering is supported. An optional dual-exposure HDR mode enhances dynamic range, and black level clamping is integrated. These sensors are ideal for capturing fast-moving objects in low-light conditions due to their low noise and high sensitivity.
