Product Overview
The TMD3725 is an advanced sensor module featuring proximity measurement, RGBC+IR color sensing, and digital ambient light sensing (ALS). Designed for a single-hole aperture, it integrates an IR LED and factory-calibrated LED driver. The proximity feature detects objects by measuring reflected IR energy, with interrupt-driven events and offset adjustment registers for accuracy. ALS provides photopic light intensity data, and color photodiodes with UV/IR blocking filters offer 16-bit data for accurate illuminance and color temperature calculations, enabling display backlight and chromaticity control. Its compact, low-profile package and reduced board space requirements make it ideal for mobile devices.
