Product Overview
The TCS3472 is a digital color light-to-digital converter with an integrated IR blocking filter. It provides accurate red, green, blue (RGB), and clear light sensing values, minimizing IR spectral component effects for precise color measurements under varying lighting conditions. Its high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, and IR blocking filter make it ideal for applications such as RGB LED backlight control, solid-state lighting, health/fitness products, industrial process controls, and medical diagnostic equipment. The device also supports ambient light sensing (ALS) for automatic display brightness adjustment in consumer electronics and can enter a low-power wait state to reduce average power consumption.
