Product Overview
The TCS3410 is a universal ambient light RGB sensor with selective flicker detection, designed for use behind OLED displays or as an auxiliary to cameras. It offers concurrent ambient light and flicker sensing with a programmable multiplexer to connect channels to photodiodes. The device incorporates RGB and Clear photodiodes with a UV/IR blocking filter for accurate ambient light measurement and irradiance calculation, aiding display appearance and picture quality. It also features direct detection of ambient light flicker, executed in parallel with ambient light sensing and with independent gain configuration. The flicker detection engine samples and buffers data for external calculation on a host CPU.
