Product Overview
The AS5116 is a contactless magnetic position sensor designed for precise 360 angular measurement. Utilizing Hall sensor technology, it accurately measures the orthogonal component of the magnetic flux density (Bz) during full-turn rotation. This device requires a simple two-pole magnet rotating over its center, which can be positioned above or below the sensor. The AS5116 provides an absolute angle measurement with instant indication of the magnet's angular position through buffered differential sine and cosine voltage outputs. It operates with a supply voltage of 5 V or 3.3 V and is fully automotive qualified.
