Product Overview

The Epoxy-Coated Noise Immune Thermistors (NTC Type NKI) from Amphenol Advanced Sensors are designed to overcome the challenges of electromagnetic interference (EMI) in complex electric systems, particularly in modern vehicles. These NTC thermistors feature an integrated radio frequency (RF) decoupling function, providing component-level EMI protection across a wide frequency range. They offer a fast time response and serve as a drop-in upgrade for existing applications, reducing system costs by allowing the use of existing housing designs and eliminating the need for shielded cables. These sensors have been EMC-tested to GMW3097 / ISO11452 and are available with a range of conformal coatings.

Key applications include EV/HEV/PHEV markets, battery temperature sensing, existing automotive upgrades, drive systems, HVAC, and air intake/coolant monitoring.
