Product Overview
The MSC-360 is a miniature Hall-effect rotary position sensor designed for space-constrained applications. It offers 360-degree absolute position feedback with an endless mechanical rotational angle and no dead band, retaining position on power loss. This fully customizable sensor features programmable electrical angles from 90 to 360 degrees, a programmable transfer function, and various output protocols and redundancy levels. Its true, contactless operation ensures limited wear and tear. The sensor is lightweight (less than 7g) and compact (28mm x 17mm x 13mm), delivering high performance with up to 12-bit resolution, extended life, and EMI & ESD protection. It is suitable for demanding environments and offers a high price-performance ratio. Applications include industrial instrumentation, autonomous robotics, robotics and automation feedback, hand controls, float level sensors, HVAC systems, valve monitoring, EGR valves, gear position sensors, autonomous steering, joystick controls, and hand throttle positions.
