The Piher PSC-360 is a cost-effective, non-contacting Hall-effect rotary position sensor designed for reliable performance in harsh environments. It offers 360-degree absolute position feedback with an endless mechanical rotational angle and no dead band, retaining position on power loss. The sensor is highly adaptable, featuring programmable electrical angles from 15 to 360 degrees, configurable transfer functions, switch outputs, and various output protocols. Its true contactless operation, with the magnet as the only moving component, ensures limited wear and tear, providing a long product lifetime of up to 50 million cycles. Applications span industrial, transportation, marine, and home/building automation sectors, including robotics, valve monitoring, steering wheel angle, and HVAC systems.
