The NPP-301 Series NovaSensor Surface Mount Pressure Sensor offers a low-cost, solid-state solution for pressure sensing applications. Utilizing an ultra-small Silicon Fusion Bonded (SFB) SenStable piezoresistive chip, these sensors are housed in a compact SO-8 surface mount package, making them suitable for automated component assembly. The four-element Wheatstone bridge configuration provides circuit design flexibility, and the sensors produce a voltage output linearly proportional to the input pressure. They are compatible with most non-corrosive gases and dry air, finding use in automotive tire pressure, pneumatic controls, pressure switches, altimeters, and consumer appliances.
