The Piher PSC-360 is a cost-effective, non-contacting Hall-effect rotary position sensor designed for high-performance applications in harsh environments. It offers 360-degree absolute position feedback with endless mechanical rotation and no dead band. The sensor is highly adaptable, featuring programmable electrical angles, transfer functions, and switch outputs, with various output protocols and redundancy levels available. Its true contactless operation, with no gears or mechanical interfaces, ensures limited wear and tear and an extended product lifetime of up to 50 million cycles. The integrated shaft design, where the magnet is securely fastened to the shaft as the only moving component, simplifies assembly and calibration. Applications span industrial, transportation, marine, and home/building automation sectors, including robotics, steering wheel angle, and HVAC systems.
