The Piher PSC-360 is a cost-effective, non-contacting Hall-effect rotary position sensor designed for high performance in harsh environments. It offers 360-degree absolute position feedback with an endless mechanical rotational angle and no dead band, retaining position on power loss. The sensor is highly adaptable with programmable electrical angles (15 to 360 degrees), transfer functions, switch outputs, and various output protocols. Its true contactless operation, utilizing an integrated magnet on the shaft as the only moving component, ensures limited wear and tear, leading to an extended product lifetime of up to 50 million cycles. The rugged, sealed, flange-mounted design is easily assembled and calibrated, making it suitable for demanding applications in transportation, industrial, and medical sectors.
