Product Overview

The Piher PSC-360 is a cost-effective, non-contacting Hall-effect rotary position sensor designed for 360-degree absolute position feedback. It offers endless mechanical rotational angle without dead bands and retains position on power loss, with programmable electrical angles from 15 to 360 degrees. Its true contactless operation, without gears or mechanical interfaces, ensures easy assembly, calibration, and limited wear, leading to an extended product lifetime of up to 50 million cycles. The sensor is adaptable with programmable transfer functions, switch outputs, and various output protocols and redundancy levels. Its durable and robust design makes it suitable for harsh environments in transportation, industrial, and medical applications. Redundant versions provide independent voltage outputs with customizable characteristics, and an optional switch output can be configured. The PSC-360 is sealed, flange-mounted for easy positioning, and available with fly leads or customized connector configurations. Multi-turn configurations are available on request.
