Product Overview
The HRPS Hall-Effect Rotary Position Sensor is a cost-effective, non-contacting position sensing solution designed for harsh environments in transportation, industrial, and marine applications. It offers 360-degree absolute position feedback with endless mechanical rotational angle and no dead band, retaining position on power loss. The sensor features configurable electrical angles from 50 to 360 degrees, true contactless operation without gears for limited wear and tear, and an integrated shaft where the magnet is the only moving component. Its durable and robust design, with a sealed and flanged-mounted package, protects against dust, moisture, vibration, and extreme temperatures, providing a long product lifetime of up to 50 million cycles. Applications include autonomous warehouse robotics, robot arm positioning, valve monitoring, steering wheel angle, pedal position, suspension height detection, and HVAC systems.
