The Piher PSC-360 is a cost-effective, non-contacting Hall-effect rotary position sensor designed for high performance in harsh environments. It offers 360-degree absolute position feedback with endless mechanical rotational angle and no dead band, retaining position on power loss. The sensor is highly configurable with programmable electrical angles from 15 to 360 degrees, adaptable transfer functions, switch outputs, and various output protocols. Its true contactless operation, with the magnet as the only moving component securely fastened to the shaft, ensures limited wear and tear for an extended product lifetime of up to 50 million cycles. The rugged, sealed, and flange-mounted design facilitates easy assembly and calibration, making it suitable for demanding applications in transportation, industrial, and medical sectors. Redundant versions are available for increased reliability.
