Product Overview

The Piher PSCM is an absolute Hall-effect multiturn rotary sensor offering up to 32 turns of absolute position feedback. It retains the last position upon power loss and features configurable electrical angles from 720 to 11,520 degrees. This non-contacting sensor provides true contactless operation with limited wear and tear, making it a cost-effective alternative to absolute encoders and ideal for replacing wire-actuated encoders. Its adaptable design allows for programmable transfer functions, switch outputs, and various output protocols and redundancy levels. The compact and rugged sensor is designed for extreme environments with high ingress protection, vibration, and temperature resistance, suitable for industrial, off-highway, and transportation applications. With a durable, non-contacting design, it boasts a long product lifetime of up to 50 million cycles.
