The Piher PSC-360 Hall-Effect End-of-Shaft Rotary Position Sensor offers 360-degree absolute position feedback with an endless mechanical rotational angle and no dead band. It retains position on power loss and features programmable electrical angles from 15 to 360 degrees. This cost-effective, non-contacting sensor is designed for harsh environments and provides high performance in transportation, industrial, and medical applications. Its true non-contacting operation, with a magnet securely fastened to the shaft as the only moving component, ensures limited wear and tear and an extended product lifetime of up to 50 million cycles. The sensor is highly configurable with programmable transfer functions, switch outputs, various output protocols, and optional redundancy levels, making it adaptable to specific requirements. Applications include autonomous robotics, robot arm positioning, valve monitoring, steering wheel angle, pedal position, and HVAC systems.
