The Telaire T8700 is a precision humidity and temperature transmitter designed for HVAC control applications. It features a rugged capacitive sensor for full-scale 0-100% RH measurement with excellent response times, linearity, and stability, and is certified against NIST reference standards. The transmitter offers maximum flexibility with field-selectable analog outputs (0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA) and a passive 10K Type II thermistor. Its modern, attractive enclosure is made of flame retardant, UL-94V ABS plastic, designed for enhanced airflow and minimal self-heating. Installation is simplified with a two-piece enclosure and terminal blocks for quick wiring. The T8700 series also boasts enhanced field serviceability with a replaceable RH sensor tip module, minimizing downtime and costly recalibrations.
