The ChipCap 2-SIP by Telaire is a Single In-Line Package humidity and temperature sensor, featuring an integrated V-Core capacitor for simplified application. It offers an advanced and cost-effective sensing solution with an in-house developed capacitive polymer sensor chip and a CMOS integrated circuit with EEPROM. Individually calibrated, the ChipCap 2-SIP provides high accuracy (2%RH, 0.3C) and is ready for use without further calibration or temperature compensation. Its design ensures excellent reliability and is suitable for harsh environments, eliminating reconditioning procedures for surface mount sensors and allowing for better air circulation and response time. Key applications include energy-saving HVAC control, process control and instrumentation, medical instruments, automotive cabin climate control, and mass quantity OEM applications.
