Product Overview
The ChipCap 2-SIP by Telaire is an advanced and cost-effective humidity and temperature sensing solution integrated into a Single In-Line Package (SIP) with a pre-installed V-Core capacitor. This embedded system combines an in-house developed capacitive polymer sensor chip with a CMOS integrated circuit and EEPROM. Individually calibrated and tested, the ChipCap 2-SIP offers high accuracy (2%RH, 0.3C) and is ready for immediate use without further calibration or temperature compensation. Its design ensures excellent reliability and performance in harsh environments, eliminating reconditioning procedures for surface mount sensors and allowing for better air circulation and response time. It is suitable for a wide range of applications including energy-saving HVAC control, process control, medical instruments, automotive cabin climate control, and mass quantity OEM applications.
