Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies 4-20 mA LPSTM Series Transducer Selection Guide
Product Overview
Wilcoxon's 4-20 mA LPSTM Series transducers are self-contained vibration transmitters designed to directly input vibration data into Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) or Distributed Control Systems (DCS). This capability enables plant personnel to trend overall vibration levels, correlate data with operating conditions, and schedule maintenance tasks, supporting Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs even without dedicated vibration analysis technicians. These loop-powered sensors provide a reliable and cost-effective means to monitor machinery health continuously, helping to prevent failures and reduce downtime. They are available with various output signal types (peak, true peak, RMS) representing velocity or acceleration, and can be configured with dual outputs for temperature or dynamic vibration signals. Options for hazardous area installations, including intrinsically safe and explosion-proof models, are also available.
