Product Overview

The Telaire T8700 is a precision humidity and temperature transmitter designed for HVAC control applications. It features a rugged capacitive sensor for full-scale 0-100% RH measurement with excellent response times, linearity, and stability, offering recovery to condensation and chemicals. The transmitter boasts field-selectable analog outputs (0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA) and a passive 10K Type II thermistor. Its modern, rugged, flame-retardant ABS plastic enclosure provides enhanced airflow and minimizes self-heating for accuracy. Installation is simplified with a two-piece enclosure and terminal blocks, allowing for pre-wiring. The T8700 series also features a field-replaceable RH sensor tip module, reducing downtime and costly recalibrations. Available in display and non-display versions, with customized branding options upon request.
