The ChipCap 2-SIP by Telaire is an advanced, cost-effective humidity and temperature sensing solution integrated into a Single In-Line Package (SIP) with a pre-installed V-Core capacitor for easy application. It features an in-house developed capacitive polymer sensor chip and a CMOS integrated circuit with EEPROM, all calibrated and tested for reliable performance. The ChipCap 2-SIP offers high accuracy (2%RH, 0.3C) and a 14-bit resolution, operating across a wide voltage range (2.3V to 5.5V) with low current consumption. Its design is reliable in harsh environments, eliminates reconditioning procedures for surface mount sensors, and allows for better air circulation and response time. Ideal for energy-saving HVAC controls, process control and instrumentation, medical instruments, automotive cabin climate control, and mass quantity OEM applications.
