Product Overview
The Piher Sensing Systems SSH-G01 Hall-Effect Gear Tooth Speed and Direction Sensor is engineered for precise calculation of speed and direction of ferrous gears in demanding automotive and industrial environments. Utilizing touchless Hall-effect technology, this compact and rugged sensor measures flux variations from passing gear teeth. It is sealed to IP67 for harsh conditions, resistant to moisture and high vibration, and offers ESD protection. The SSH-G01 is designed for long-term reliability and can be easily customized with specific cable or connector interfaces. Key applications include vehicle transmission speed and direction, wheel speed, hoist and engine speed, anti-lock braking systems, and industrial pump speed feedback.
