Product Overview
The Natural Gas Module is a battery-operated detection device designed for the detection of natural gas (methane) in concentrations below 100% LEL (4.4% CH4 in air). It is not suitable for measuring propane and butane. The module features a MEMS pellistor sensor for low-power operation on standard AA batteries, providing visual (LED) and audible (buzzer) alarms. It also offers data transmission via serial RS232 for monitoring and calibration. Estimated maintenance-free operation is 6 months on 2xAA (2600mAh) batteries.
