The ChipCap 2-SIP by Telaire is an advanced and cost-effective humidity and temperature sensing solution integrated into a Single In-Line Package (SIP) with a pre-installed V-Core capacitor for easy application. It features an in-house developed capacitive polymer sensor chip and a CMOS integrated circuit with EEPROM, all within a single embedded system. Individually calibrated and tested, the ChipCap 2-SIP offers high accuracy (2%RH from 20-80%RH, 0.3C) and is ready for use without further calibration or temperature compensation. Its reliable performance in harsh environments, coupled with a free operating voltage range and low current consumption, makes it suitable for a wide array of applications including energy-saving HVAC control, process control, medical instruments, automotive cabin climate control, and mass quantity OEM applications.
