Product Overview

The VQ31 series thermal conductivity gas detector elements are designed for detecting gases in 0-100% by volume concentrations. Utilizing the thermal conductivity principle, these elements feature a sensing element exposed to the atmosphere under test and a reference element sealed in reference air. The response is based on the difference in thermal conductivity between the test atmosphere and reference air, leading to a change in the sensing element's resistance due to heat loss. The VQ31M is supplied with braided leads, while the VQ31MB has extended pins for direct PCB fitting. These sensors are suitable for operation in various mounting arrangements, including direct flow or diffusion conditions.
