Product Overview
The SGX series of PS1 and PS4 Solid Polymer Electrolyte Gas Sensors leverage a revolutionary technology based on catalytic reaction to measure target gases, generating a current proportional to concentration. These sensors offer a stable, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing process. They are characterized by their very small size, high sensitivity, zero power consumption, and low cross-sensitivity to other gases. Ideal for applications such as biogas production, water treatment plants, leak detection, and both portable and fixed-point monitoring, these sensors provide reliable performance in harsh environments.

Important Notes
- All performance is based on conditions at 20C, 50% RH and 1 atm, flow rate >150 qcm/min, using SGX recommended circuitry.
- Sensor performance is temperature dependent; please contact SGX for temperature performance other than 20C.
- Do not solder to the connector pins as this may damage the sensor and thereby invalidate the warranty.
- Details on recommended connector pins can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions within the Gas Sensor section of the SGX website.
- Exposure to high concentrations of solvent vapours should be avoided during storage, fitting into instruments, and operation.
- When using sensors on printed circuit boards (PCBs), degreasing agents should be used prior to the sensor being fitted.
- For life safety applications, it is recommended that all sensors and instruments using these sensors are checked for response to gas before use.
