Product Overview
The SGX series of PS1 and PS4 Solid Polymer Electrolyte gas sensors leverage a revolutionary technology based on catalytic reaction principles to measure target gases. These sensors generate a small current proportional to gas concentration, offering a stable, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing process. Key advantages include a very small size, high sensitivity, no power consumption, and very low cross-sensitivity. They are designed for applications such as TLV Monitoring, the Oil & Petrochemical Industry, Leak Detection, the Steel Industry, and Parking Garages.

Important Notes
- All performance is based on conditions at 20°C, 50% RH and 1 atm, flow rate>150qcm/min, using SGX recommended circuitry.
- Sensor performance is temperature dependent; contact SGX for performance outside of 20°C.
- Do not solder to the connector pins as this may damage the sensor and invalidate the warranty.
- Details on recommended connector pins can be found in the FAQ section of the SGX website.
- Exposure to high concentrations of solvent vapours should be avoided during storage, fitting, and operation.
- When using sensors on PCBs, degreasing agents should be used prior to sensor fitting.
- For life safety performance requirements, it is recommended that all sensors and instruments are checked for response to gas before use.
