Product Overview
The LZ-13 Series LVIT Miniature Linear Position Sensor is a through-bore, inductive, contactless device designed for applications where size is a constraint and a superior stroke-to-body-length ratio is required. Ideal for factory automation, part inspection, location automation systems, assembly machinery, and packaging equipment, this sensor offers nominal full-scale ranges from 2.5 to 300mm (0.1 to 12 inches). Its 12.7mm (1/2 inch) outside diameter stainless steel body and 4.78mm (.188 inch) diameter through-bore, which accommodates a 4mm (.157 inch) diameter moving target rod, prevent damage from mechanical overstroking. The contactless operation prevents internal wearout, making it suitable for dithering or rapid cycling.
