Product Overview
The SGX series of PS1 and PS4 Formaldehyde sensors utilize a revolutionary Solid Polymer Electrolyte technology based on catalytic reaction principles. These sensors generate a small current proportional to the formaldehyde concentration, offering a stable, high-quality, and cost-effective solution. Key features include a very small size, high sensitivity, no power consumption, and very low cross-sensitivity to other gases. They are ideal for TLV monitoring and indoor air quality applications.

Important Notes & Features
- Features: Small size, wide temperature range, fast response time, no electrolyte leakage, low cost at large volumes, strong signal to noise, individually calibrated.
- Performance Conditions: All performance data is based on conditions at 20C, 50% RH, and 1 atm, with a flow rate >150 qcm/min, using SGX recommended circuitry.
- Temperature Dependency: Sensor performance is temperature dependent; contact SGX for performance outside of 20C.
- Soldering: Do not solder to connector pins as this may damage the sensor and invalidate the warranty.
- Connector Pins: Details on recommended connector pins are available in the FAQ section of the SGX website.
- Cross Sensitivity: Low cross sensitivity to various gases including Ammonia, Benzene, CO2, Chlorine, Ethanol, Ethylene, Hydrogen Chloride, Hydrogen Cyanide, Hydrogen, Methane, Nitrogen Dioxide, Sulphur Dioxide, and Toluene. (Refer to datasheet for specific readings).
