Product Overview
The ATS17501 is a single IC solution for rotational position sensing in automotive and industrial electric motor applications. It utilizes three Hall elements to provide two independent differential channels, processing inputs with digital circuits and robust algorithms to eliminate offsets and false transitions. The IC offers accurate speed and direction information, with advanced calibration for consistent switch points over varying conditions. It is programmable for various applications, including dual-phase gear speed/position or high-resolution speed/direction, and can be configured for ASIL B(D) Fault Detection mode. The SG package integrates a rare-earth magnetic pellet and a back-biasing magnet for enhanced manufacturing, performance, and reliability.
