Product Overview
The A31315 3DMAG position sensor is a versatile device designed for accurate on-axis and off-axis rotary and linear stroke position measurement. It integrates vertical and planar Hall-effect elements with advanced temperature-compensating circuitry to detect magnetic field components. Configurable signal processing, linearization, and angle calculation enable precise absolute position resolution for both full 360 and short-stroke rotary applications, as well as linear stroke measurements. The sensor offers flexible output options including ratiometric analog, PWM, or SENT (SAE J2716) interfaces. On-chip EEPROM allows for flexible programming of configuration and calibration parameters, with dedicated space for customer identification. The A31315 includes integrated diagnostics for high reliability and is developed in accordance with ISO 26262 for automotive safety-related systems, offering ASIL B (single die) and ASIL D (dual die) capabilities. It is available in SOIC-8 (single die) and TSSOP-14 (stacked dual die) packages for applications requiring redundancy. Suitable for automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.
