Product Overview
The ATS17501 is a single IC solution for rotational position sensing in automotive and industrial electric motor applications. It features three Hall elements for two independent differential channels, processed by digital circuits and robust algorithms to eliminate offsets and false transitions. The IC provides highly accurate speed and direction information, with advanced calibration for consistent switch points over air gap, speed, and temperature. It supports dual-phase gear speed/position or high-resolution speed/direction signaling and can be configured for Fault Detection mode for ASIL B(D) utilization. Housed in an SG package with an integrated magnetic pellet, it ensures manufacturing ease, consistent performance, and enhanced reliability.
