Product Overview

The Allegro A1101-A1104 and A1106 Hall-effect switches are advanced, BiCMOS-based unipolar switches designed as successors to the popular Allegro 312x and 314x series. These devices offer fast power-on times, low-noise operation, and high switchpoint accuracy due to post-packaging programming that minimizes induced offsets. Their design incorporates unique Hall element geometries and low-offset amplifiers to reduce noise and residual offset voltage from overmolding, temperature variations, and thermal stress. Integrated components include a voltage regulator, Hall-voltage generator, small-signal amplifier, Schmitt trigger, and NMOS output transistor, enabling operation from 3.8 to 24 V. Extensive on-board protection circuitry allows for a 30 V absolute maximum voltage rating, suitable for automotive and industrial motor commutation without external components. Available in compact BiCMOS process geometries, these switches come in SOT23W (LH) and SIP (UA) package styles. All packages are lead (Pb) free with 100% matte-tin-plated leadframes.
