Product Overview
The APS12200, APS12210, and APS12230 are three-wire, planar Hall-effect latch ICs designed for high-temperature operation up to 175C junction temperatures. Developed in accordance with ISO 26262:2011, these devices support a functional safety level of ASIL A and offer extended AEC-Q100 qualification. They are ideal for automotive applications, featuring robust protection mechanisms such as reverse-battery protection, output current limiter, overvoltage, and EMC protection. The ICs integrate a voltage regulator, Hall plate, amplifier, chopper stabilization, Schmitt trigger, and a short-circuit-protected open-drain output. Operation is supported from unregulated supply voltages of 2.8 to 24 V, with two package options: a 3-pin SOT23W (LH) for surface mounting and a 3-pin SIP (UA) for through-hole mounting. Both packages are lead (Pb) free and RoHS compliant.
