Product Overview
The A1262 is a two-channel, latching Hall-effect sensor IC featuring both vertical and planar Hall elements. Its 2D architecture provides quadrature output signals with 90 phase separation, enabling the determination of speed and direction of rotating ring magnets. This sensor simplifies motor and magnetic encoder designs with its small footprint and offers flexibility in end-system magnetic design through two sensing options (Y-axis default or X-axis) and two temperature range options. It is automotive grade, AEC-Q100 qualified, and includes output short-circuit protection, reverse-battery protection, and superior temperature stability.
