Product Overview
The A17501 is a single IC solution for rotational position sensing of ring magnet targets in automotive and industrial electric motor applications. It features three Hall elements creating two independent differential channels, processed by digital circuits and algorithms to eliminate offsets and vibration-induced false transitions. The IC provides accurate speed and direction information, with advanced calibration for consistent performance across varying air gaps, speeds, and temperatures. It is programmable for dual-phase speed/position or high-resolution speed/direction, and supports Fault Detection mode for ASIL B(D) utilization.
