Product Overview
The A1262 is a two-channel, latching Hall-effect sensor IC featuring both vertical and planar Hall elements. It provides quadrature output signals with 90 phase separation, enabling the determination of speed and direction for rotating ring magnets. Its 2D architecture and small footprint simplify the design of motors and magnetic encoders. The sensor offers flexibility in end-system magnetic design with two sensing options for vertical Hall plate orientation (X or Y) and a planar Hall plate sensitive to magnetic fields perpendicular to the package face (Z).
