Product Overview
The A1262 is a two-channel, latching Hall-effect sensor IC featuring both vertical and planar Hall elements. Its 2D architecture provides quadrature output signals with 90 phase separation, enabling determination of speed and direction of rotating ring magnets. This design simplifies motor and magnetic encoder applications by offering independent use of Z-axis planar Hall with either Y-axis (default) or X-axis vertical Hall outputs, all within a small footprint. The sensor boasts high sensitivity, automotive-grade qualification (AEC-Q100), and robust protection features.
