Product Overview
The A1262 is a two-channel, latching Hall-effect sensor IC featuring both vertical and planar Hall elements. Its 2D architecture provides quadrature output signals with 90 phase separation, enabling determination of speed and direction of rotating ring magnets. This sensor is designed for simplicity in motor and magnetic encoder applications, offering flexibility in end-system magnetic design with two sensing options for vertical Hall plate orientation (X or Y) and a planar Hall plate sensitive to Z-axis magnetic fields. It is available in automotive-grade options and offers robust protection features.
