Product Overview
The APS11500 is a two-wire planar Hall-effect sensor IC designed for automotive and industrial safety applications. It offers internal diagnostics, ASIL A functional safety compliance (ISO 26262), and a current-mode interface with diagnostic capabilities and a Safe State. The device supports various user-configurable options for magnetic switch points, temperature coefficient, hysteresis, and magnetic field response (unipolar, bipolar, omnipolar). It is compatible with SmCo, NdFeB, and ferrite magnets, and provides choices for output current and polarity. The APS11500 is engineered for ruggedness, fault tolerance, and minimal external components, enabling PCB-less module designs.
