Product Overview
The APS11450 is a three-wire planar Hall-effect sensor IC designed for automotive safety-related systems, compliant with ISO 26262:2011 for ASIL B capability. It features an enhanced three-wire interface with interconnect diagnostics and a fault state for robust communication. The device offers continuous background diagnostics transparent to the host system, reducing fault tolerant time. Product options include magnetic switch points, temperature coefficient, hysteresis, and response to magnetic fields, compatible with various magnet types. It is engineered for harsh environments with integrated overvoltage clamp, reverse-battery diode, and extended AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualification for operation up to 175C junction temperature.
