Product Overview
The APS11450 is a three-wire planar Hall-effect sensor IC designed for automotive safety-related systems, compliant with ISO 26262:2011 for ASIL B capability. It features an enhanced three-wire interface with interconnect diagnostics and a fault state for robust communication. The sensor offers continuous background diagnostics transparent to the host system, reducing fault tolerant time. Product options include variations in magnetic switch points, temperature coefficient, hysteresis, and response to magnetic fields, compatible with various magnet types. It is engineered for harsh environments with integrated reverse-battery protection, overvoltage protection, ESD protection, overtemperature detection, and an internal voltage regulator, reducing module BOM and assembly costs. Available in SOT23-W (LH) and SIP (UA) packages, both RoHS-compliant.
